If there ever was an example of criminally dysfunctional mother this has to be it. While the news reports seem to conflict on the details, I'll let them fill in the details.

MySpace turns over details of North Carolina Sex Offenders
CNN bring us the news that MySpace have just handed over the details of more than 2,000 convicted North Carolina's sex offenders who were registered on its site, and has now removed them. MySpace did this in response to a subpoena from General Roy Cooper, the North Carolina state Attorney, who has requested the same details from Facebook. North Carolina passed a law in2008 banning sex offenders from social networking sites where children are members, making it a felony offence. This didn't come soon enough for two girls in Unicoi County, Tennessee.
Conflicting News Reports
News Channel 11 Bristol reports (March 9, 2009):
The Unicoi County Sheriff's Department is still investigating a case where they arrested a 26-year-old North Carolina man, after they say he admitted to having sex with a 16-year-old girl and inappropriately touching an 11-year-old girl. That's not all, investigators think the childrens' mother allowed the man to sleep in the same beds as her children. The sheriff's department says that the mother allegedly drove to North Carolina to pick up Michael Jones, 26, who is also listed as a sex offender.
Investigators say the mother allowed Jones to stay at their home, after he allegedly met her 16-year-old daughter online. Jones is charged with aggravated statutory rape and is being held on a $250 thousand bond. Meanwhile, the mother is charged with child neglect and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
So the mother went and picked up the scumbag and brought him into her home.
But another report:
A North Carolina man is arrested in Unicoi County, TN after police say he sexually assaulted two girls. Police say 26-year-old Michael Jones is charged with statutory rape and sexual battery. They say Jones came to Unicoi County after meeting the mother and one of the girls on the popular website MySpace. Jones is a convicted sex offender who had a GPS ankle bracelet on when he left North Carolina.
"He wanted to transfer his probation from North Carolina to Tennessee, and my child abuse advocate told him that under State Law, you can not be around any minor children that are not yours. You can't stay at a house and you can't be there with them," says Unicoi County Sheriff Kent Harris. Jones remains in the Unicoi County jail under $250,000 bond. The girls' mother was also arrested and is charged with child neglect.
He had a ankle bracelet and nobody noticed he left the state??? And another news report:
