The Rape and Plunder of America

America is being sacked and robbed, but those responsible for these crimes are not invading terrorists from outside our nation. Forces from within its own borders are pillaging America. The charge is being lead from the Office of the President, including cabinet appointees and our elected Senators and Congressmen. They are destroying our country with promises of hope and change, health care and social security for everyone, a promise that also encompasses those who are here illegally.

A headline in The Washington Post, Saturday, March 14, 2009 proclaims: Obama's New Tack: Blaming Bush. The first paragraph of the article offers a quote from his inaugural address. President Obama proclaimed "an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas that far too long have strangled our politics."

Suddenly, everyone from the President and Vice President, to Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton are pointing fingers, blaming George Bush for every problem in America and around the world, and calling it inherited baggage.

When it comes to matters of the economic disaster, Mr. Obama and friends might want to back up and look at the overall picture. The president angrily called out U.S. bankers who gave themselves huge bonuses, while they expected Washington to bail them out after the sub-prime scandal knocked the banks to their knees. Mr. Obama must have forgotten his role in the sub-prime debacle. Surely, he cannot forget the part he played in supporting the Community Reinvestment Act of 1995.

You remember that, don't you, Mr. Obama? The Community Reinvestment Act legally required banks to lend money to millions of poor, mainly black Americans, to buy homes-homes they could not afford. And Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two biggest mortgage associations, guaranteed the mortgages.

It was this act that helped to create the problem of hundreds of thousands of homeowners defaulting on their loans. When moves were afoot in 2005 to halt Fannie's and Freddie' guarantees, no one more adamantly opposed those moves than Senator Barack Obama. No one received more political contributions from Fannie and Freddie than Senator Obama, with Senator Hillary Clinton running a close second.

Let's go back to September 30, 1999 and an article, written by Steven A. Holmes, which appeared in The New York Times. The headline read: Fannie Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending. The following are direct quotes from Mr. Holmes' article.

Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits. "Fannie Mae has expanded home ownership for millions of families in the 1990's by reducing down payment requirements," said Franklin Raines, Fannie Mae's chairman and chief executive officer. "Yet there remain too many borrowers whose credit is just a notch below what our underwriting has required who have been relegated to paying significantly higher mortgage rates in the so-called sub-prime market."

In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980's.

With the above in mind, how was the entire dilemma the nation is facing inherited from former President George W. Bush? Indeed, it appears to me that Mr. Obama and the Clinton Administration played a somewhat prominent part in our current economic calamity.

In all of this economic turmoil, America saw $170 billion pumped into AIG, an insurance firm. Why would our Senators and Congressmen vote to send billions to an insurance company? Well, it seems that AIG is the insurer of the retirement funds of these very senators and congressmen who voted to bail them out.

It certainly sounds like our elected officials are taking care of themselves first and foremost, while saying damn the taxpaying, hard working American. I guess the translation here is, "As long as I have mine, screw you." But, keep in mind, this was a bipartisan vote for the money to bail out AIG. The "screw you" portion takes on a whole new meaning today, Sunday, March 15, 2009.

Today AIG announced that it suffered a $61.7 billion loss in the 4th quarter last year. At the same time it also said it would be paying out $165 million in bonuses to its executives. If it required $170 billion in taxpayer money to bail out AIG, and it claims billions in losses in the 4th quarter, how can it justify paying millions in bonuses? It sounds very much like AIG, as well as our elected officials, is raping the American taxpayer.

Turning to another page, there seemed to be more than a few cheap shots taken at President Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney, while they were in office, regarding their personal wealth.

Ann Coulter made a few interesting observations in an article she titled, Are Hope and Change Still Tax-deductible? Yes, I know mentioning the name Ann Coulter causes many to gag, riles some to anger and scares the hell out of others. Me, I happen to admire the woman, because she has the brass to take the shot as she sees it. I also believe that some fear her simply because she has more balls than they do.

I'll only highlight a few points from her article, but it can be read in its entirety at Human Events Online. She opened her article by pointing out that President Obama plans to pay his $3.6 trillion spending bill by raising taxes on "the rich."

While liberals love being praised for their looks, their style, their brilliance and their courage, the one quality they don't want talked about is their money. To the contrary, Democrats are constantly boasting about how poor they are-as if that's a virtue in a capitalist society with no class barriers.

Democrats' claims of poverty merely serve to show how out of touch elected Democrats are with actual incomes in America. At the Democratic National Convention, for example, there were heartfelt tributes to the daunting self-sacrifice of both Barack and Michelle Obama for passing up lucrative jobs to work in "public service"-which apparently is now defined, such as in Michelle Obama's case, as "working as a diversity coordinator at a big city hospital for $300,000 a year."

In 1991, 1992 and 1993, George W. Bush had incomes of $179,591, $212,313 and $610,772. His charitable contributions those years were $28,236, $31,914 and $31,292. During his presidency, Bush gave away more than 10 percent of his income each year.

For purposes of comparison, in 2005, Barack Obama made $1.7 million-more than twice President Bush's 2005 income of $735,180, but they both gave the same amount to charity.

That same year, the heartless Halliburton employee, Vice-President Dick Cheney gave 77 percent of his income to charity. The following year, in 2006, Bush gave more to charity than Obama on an income one-third smaller than Obama's. Maybe when Obama talks about "change" he's referring to his charitable contributions.

Moving on, a question the American taxpayers should be asking of our president is, how many more of your appointees and nominees have forgotten to pay their taxes? It appears that a number of them have forgotten that April 15th is the deadline for filing and paying income taxes. Yet, woe to the hard working American should he or she falter when the deadline approaches. A fine example from our new and current administration.

Next we should take a long hard look at Thomas Saenz, whom Obama is expected to appoint as the nation's top civil-rights enforcer. Of course, Saenz is an outstanding model to bring aboard, especially as he was a top lawyer for a radical Hispanic group that wants to cede California to Mexico.

He is also responsible for killing Proposition 187 in California, against the wishes of 60 percent of the voters. That law would have denied welfare to illegal aliens. At the time, Saenz was vice president of litigation for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. The co-founder of the group crowed that "California is going to be a Mexican state. We are going to control all the institutions. If people don't like it, they should leave"

I support the voters who wanted to deny illegal aliens welfare. But, let's not stop in California. I don't care in what part of America these illegals have decided to take up residence-if they haven't earned it, they don't deserve it.

Like a great many citizens of this country, I'm damned sick and tired of the free ride our elected officials are so quick to bestow upon everyone. They want to give away health care, welfare, and social security benefits to these slugs that have entered the United States illegally. But the tab for these benefits is not labeled "Yours Free of Charge." The American taxpayer, as always, is footing the bill for the give away programs and the legislators are patting themselves on the back for a job well done, while kissing the a**es of the illegals.

And, it seems our esteemed legislators have also forgotten that entering the country illegally is against the law. But, what the hell, they think they are above the law anyway. So, for Obama, Saenz is a perfect fit. Open the borders and let the stampede begin, because Saenz believes that no illegal alien should be rounded up. He's quoted as saying, "At a certain point, people (meaning illegals) have earned a right to stay here with their families." To that I say bullsh**. They have earned absolutely nothing.

I'm not finished with Saenz yet. I want to offer a reminder to him and those outraged American citizens who read this. Mr. Saenz, do you recall a soccer match that took place in the Los Angeles Coliseum on February 15, 1998 between the United States and Mexico? That's the game where the Mexicans booed our National Anthem, held the United States Flag upside down, and pelted, punched, kicked and spat upon those who cheered the United States team. And, just to make their anti-American sentiment complete, they hurled trash and beer on the U. S. players before and after the game.

I'm not certain how many Americans have heard of the student protests over rights for illegal immigrants, but maybe they should be told about some of the things that have taken place in California. Teachers have said that in some areas of the state every student is entitled to a free breakfast and lunch.

And that is a full breakfast; cereal, cereal bars, fruit and juices. But, for the most part, the food is dumped into the trash uneaten. The schools provide daycare centers for unwed teenage mothers, (some as young as 13), so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for baby-sitters, or saddling family members with the chore of watching their child.

There have been instances where older, more experienced teachers have had to intervene on behalf of young and/or substitute female teachers who are being called putas (whores) and having objects thrown at them in the classroom. I could go on, but I'll leave it at this. Yet, to say the least, this is one more example of the plundering of America by your friends from South of the Border. And just think, our president wants to endow them with even more "free" handouts.

The free ride system in this country has taught thousands upon thousands of people to sit back and take, take, take everything the government is readily willing to give to them. And then they demand more, with many believing they are entitled to live at the expense of the American taxpayers.

A great many people deserve section 8 housing, welfare checks and food stamps. But, these deserving people are also willing to work to earn a living. They have pride and struggle to make something of themselves and to support their families. Yet, they are often the brunt of harassment and verbal and physical assaults by neighborhood thugs because they try to better themselves.

I have seen, first hand, the abuse of the system. I've been in Section 8 homes where televisions have been in every room of the house, including the bathroom. And, these were not cheap TV's by any stretch of the imagination. Next to the TV's in each bedroom was a new stereo system.

In another home, there was a clothing rack at the back of a closet where 50 leather jackets and coats of various styles and color hung. In the same closet there were more than 200 pairs of new shoes, with 60 of those pairs belonging to a two-year old. I noted that the income tax return for this household claimed a total income for the year of $3,700! And, they had a relatively new Volvo parked in front of the home. Our tax dollars at work for the needy, or just thrifty planning and spending on the part of those receiving the handouts.

Another shining illustration of the system at work is Sharon Jasper of Louisiana. I will show only a few examples here, but her story is worth going online to read. She has lived in Section 8 housing for all but one of her 58 years. She was moved into Section 8 housing by her parents at the age of only six-months. She has since passed the legacy on to her children, but now fears that they might have to get jobs to pay for utilities and other deposits. About her one year absence from Section 8 housing she said, "I tried it for a year-working and all. It's not anything I would want to go through again, or wish on anyone in my family, but I am damn proud of that year."

I believe President Obama wants to spread the wealth to hard workers like her. Oh, and she also complained about her new home after Katrina. One of her complaints was about the fact that she'd been given a brand new 60 inch HD TV. She said, "It may look nice, but it's not plasma because I'm black." That my fellow taxpayers is the raping of our welfare system. Please keep in mind, this is but a single example in New Orleans.

here are other clouds on the horizon, which raise a great deal of concern. The first continues to be the issue of Barack Obama's place of birth. He has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to prevent his birth certificate from being made public. The courts have continually denied requests demanding that he show proof that he is, in fact, a natural born citizen of the United States.

his matter should be settled, and if Mr. Obama has nothing to hide, he can silence everyone merely by producing a valid birth certificate. Various copies of an alleged birth certificate have been produced, but they have raised more suspicions than providing answers. Is there something President Barack Obama is trying desperately to hide from the American people?

Other storm clouds appearing on the horizon hold foreboding messages. One of those messages appeared in the Wall Street Journal on December 29, 2008. Igor Panarin, dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry's diplomatic academy and former KGB officer, said that America will probably come under Martial Law by the end of 2009, and that it may fracture into several states by 2011. "When this happens," said Panarin, "Russia and China will become the mainstays of the new global order." Americans are naturally skeptical of his prediction, but what if he's right? Could America turn against itself within a matter of months?

Again, quoting from the Wall Street Journal, there are already inklings of a fissure. Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, and fellow Democrat, wrote a letter to President Barack Obama warning the administration to desist from bypassing the Senate's authority over Executive Branch appointments.

According to Senator Byrd, the new administration is creating new agencies out of the White House that "can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances." In effect, Byrd explained; the White House is taking "direction and control of programmatic areas that are the statutory responsibility of Senate-confirmed officials."

The Obama administration is headed for failure on every front. A government that doesn't know what it's doing is interfering with the economic healing process. That's a frightening statement.

lan Keyes, who worked with the U. S. Foreign Service, was Ambassador to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and served as Assistant Secretary for International Organization Affairs under President Ronald Reagan, said, "the country is headed for chaos, confusion and civil war."

He further stated, "Obama is a radical Communist, and I think it is becoming clear. That is what I told people in Illinois and now everybody realizes it's true. He is going to destroy this country, and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist."

Alan Keyes will not acknowledge that Barack Obama is actually the President of the United States. Keyes has said, "Obama has refused to provide proof that he is in fact a natural born citizen, and his Kenyan relations say he was born in Nairobi at a time when his mother was too young to transmit U. S. citizenship."

"The lines are being drawn, and we are headed for national tragedy. Panarin's analysis isn't far fetched at all. The country needs to wake up. Danger approaches, and it is coming on fast."

Since taking office, Obama continues to be the media darling. When he went to Arizona to plug his bailout and stimulus package, there was a protest by the citizens of Arizona against his policy. The signs they waved carried blunt messages telling the president what they thought. Yet, the mainstream media posted none of these on TV or in the newspapers.

Why? It seems they cover him at every turn like a mother's security blanket. America has a right to know when there is opposition to Obama's policies, as they did with Bush's policies. The media couldn't wait to shout every negative possible at George Bush, but when it comes to Barack Obama, they treat him as if he is Jesus Christ. And surely this man is not the Second Coming of Christ.

Obama failed to attend the Inaugural Ball where 48 Medal of Honor recipients were present. Is he too good to pay tribute to these gallant men who served and protected our nation? No he isn't. Every president before him took time to pay respect to these men, but Mr. Obama chose to spit in their faces with his absence.

I promise you every one of those men is far more humble than Obama will ever be, and if they could go back and serve this great nation once again, I'm certain they would proudly do so. He should have taken the time to meet these men and learn about honor, courage and pride in one's country. Something he obviously knows very little about.

He showed his version of pride in America when he sat down to give his first television interview to an Arab network. He appears in front of the cameras and boasts of his Muslim relatives, and again this should raise questions as to who this man really is? Certainly our media doesn't have the courage to ask the tough questions of their beloved "hero and Messiah." But, they will attack Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs or Bill O'Reilly if they question Obama's policies, or patriotism.

Yes, America is being raped, pillaged and plundered every day by the very people who have been elected to run the country. And, they seem to have no shame in what they are doing. They clamor that they are working hard to save America, when in reality they are working only to satisfy their own greed for power and money. As they line their pockets and clutch tightly their newfound powers, America sinks ever faster toward the twilight of chaos and-may God forbid a Civil War.
